Corporate visits give a better understanding of the different career paths while also giving a flavour of the corporate world or an insight into the public sector. In the past, students have visited companies such as Lloyds Halifax, Lansons Communications and Aviva.
One of our WOF Ambassadors attended a school visit for a skills-based fair at Blackheath High School for a workshop-based skills session, based on practical skills that will equip the young girls for the future.

We were delighted to hold our Annual Ambassadors Reception at Lords Cricket Ground on 23rd May 2023

I went into the conference very anxious and unsure about my career but now I understand it’s completely normal to change career and grow into new jobs and positions throughout life.”
We were delighted to invite 40 students to TSB bank to hear from leaders about the variety of roles within the bank.
A lot of the guest speakers had done different courses at university and were currently working with the bank which helped me understand that you don’t necessarily need to know what to do and it’s OK if you want to change your career later on.”
