Inspirational Educator award
In 2008, the inaugural Inspirational Educator Award was established, to acknowledge a deserving individual who is raising aspirations in the UK today.
The award was given to Sarah Quinn, head of sixth form at Central Foundation School for Girls.
In 2009 the award was presented to Vanessa Ogden, the headteacher at Mulberry School. Vanessa described as ‘totally selfless with full respect of staff and students alike’, was awarded not only for the multiple successes of the Mulberry school and her students, but also for her commitment to empowering others.
In 2011 the award was presented to Georgina Pearson, Head of Sixth Form at Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School for her outstanding work in education, raising the aspiration levels of school girls.
